Well, praise the Lord. Welcome to 30 Days of Prayer. My name is Pastor Don. I'm pastor of Faith Christian Center in beautiful San Francisco, California. And my assignment today is to teach on praying for opportunities to witness to the unsaved. That's right, praying for opportunities, divinely granted opportunities, to witness, to share your faith with the unsaved. We know from John chapter 3, verse 16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Sharing the life and the lifestyle of God here in the earth, glory be to God. Verse 17 says, “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” The word there saved in the Greek, sozo, it means to make safe, it means to deliver, it means to save, it means to make whole, it means to preserve, safe from danger, loss, and destruction. Yeah, they need some of that, glory be to God. We also know for first Timothy chapter 2, verse 2 says, “Who will have all men (talking about God) - who will have all men to be saved (same Greek word, sozo) and come into the knowledge of the truth.” So we know God has made provision in Christ Jesus for us to be saved. He made the sacrifice. And we know in first Timothy chapter 2, that it is the will of God that all men be saved. And so you can turn on the TV and you can just recognize quick - yeah, they need to get saved, glory be to God. All right, that's a good godly idea. Go to Matthew chapter 9. Matthew chapter 9 - it says right here, verse 37, Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” The world is ripe for revival. There are people crying out, waiting for somebody that's bold enough to share their faith. Everybody's talking about the church but some of us are in the closet. Man, get on up, get out there and share what God has put on your heart. Now there's one more component maybe you might need. Go over to Acts chapter 1, verse 8. And it says in the King James, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:” And He talks about the different areas or regions they shall be witnesses. And so you're probably not living over in the Middle East. So you might not have the same regions that you'll be effective or you'll be anointed to minister. But if you're a Christian, if you're still with the Holy Ghost, you can believe God to anoint you and to activate Holy Ghost power, to be able to witness the people who don't know Jesus. Another translation says, “But you shall receive power of the kind which God has and exerts after the Holy Spirit has come on you.” Glory be to God, you shall receive power. Thank you, Father, we shall receive power to be able to witness to the unsaved. Glory be to God, you be blessed.
