Hi, my name is Evangelist Kaye Stramler and I'm a staff minister here at Word of Faith International Christian Center. Today we're going to pray for our spiritual leaders and our pastors around the world. Let us go to the Scripture. Let's go to 1 Timothy chapter 2 verse 1. It says, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” The Scripture tells us that this is good and acceptable in the eyesight of God, our Savior, who would have all men to be saved and come into the knowledge of the truth. So anything that is good to God is good for me, and we need to pray. In Ephesians chapter 1 verse 17, it tells us to pray for our leaders and our pastors to have revelation knowledge in the name of Jesus. James chapter 1 verse 5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” And so we need to pray for us to have wisdom, to know exactly what to say for them in the name of Jesus. In Colossians chapter 1 verse 10, it tells us to continue to walk worthy of the vocation in which we are called. We're living in a climate where anything goes, and we want our pastors to stay on the path of righteousness. So we're going to pray that they continue to walk worthy according to what they have been called to do in the name of Jesus. Ephesians chapter 13 verse 17, we need to pray for our pastors, because according to the Word, they watch for our souls. And anybody watching for my soul is - I'm going to be praying for them in the name of Jesus, that they hear exactly what they're supposed to hear. They do not miss it to the right. They do not miss it to the left, but that they perfectly follow the will of God for the church and for this nation as a whole. And lastly, Ephesians chapter 6 verses 16 through 20, it tells us to pray for our pastors and our spiritual leaders to have the spirit of boldness, that they may speak boldly as they ought to do to get the Gospel out to the people. It talks about freedom of utterance. Well, we need to ask the Holy Ghost to help us with that, because the Bible says we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with warnings which cannot be uttered. And He that searches the heart and knows what is the mind of the spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for the good with them who love God to them that are called according to His purpose. So let's take hold with the Holy Ghost and pray for our spiritual leaders and our pastors around this nation. God bless you. Have a great day.
