Hi and welcome to 30 days of prayer. I am Pastor MiChelle Ferguson, and today we are going to be praying for the lost and those who are out of fellowship with God. We see in1 Timothy chapter 2, verse4—we know what the will of God is concerning those who are lost and far from Him. It says inverse 4,“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”Jesus died to set us free—not just for us to live a free life here on earth, but that when we move on, that we spend eternity with Him. Second Peter chapter 3, verse nine says this,“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”You know, sometimes, especially if you find yourself having to witness to people that you know—family and friends—it can be difficult. But I want to encourage you not to be discouraged by that at all. In Matthew chapter 9, verse 37 and verse 38, Jesus says,“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
So we are going to be praying for the lost today. We are also going to pray for laborers that they be sent to our loved ones, to our friends and family, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared and many can be saved.
