Hello ladies and gentlemen. I am so glad to address you today. And today we want to talk just a little bit about orphans and widows, and how God feels about them because we want to make sure that we pray for them. Psalm 68, verse 5, says, “A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.” He thinks very highly of the fatherless, or orphans, and widows. So what we need to pray is that He will continue to bless them. Then in Psalm chapter 146, verse 9, “The Lord protects and preserves the strangers and temporary residents, He upholds the fatherless and the widow and sets them upright, but the way of the wicked He makes crooked (turns upside down and brings to ruin).” So God will take the lives of the widow and the fatherless and He will turn their lives in the right direction - in the direction He wants it to go. God has many scriptures that He talks about the widows and the orphans. He talks about them and He thinks about them. We need to understand that God loves all of us - all of His people. It doesn’t matter was going on in your life. It doesn’t matter what stage of life you are in. It doesn’t matter what your political views are. What matters is you are His children and He loves you, and He wants you to treat His children right. So we have to be very purposely on how we treat each other, especially widows and orphans, and pray for them. Remember to pray for them. Don’t forget. Always remember to pray for them because God says that He will uphold them and He will protect them and He is the Father to the orphans. In your prayers, remember that. God bless you.
