DAY 2 | Pray For a Great Awakening

Good day faith family all around the world. Welcome to day two of our 30 days of prayer campaign. My name is Timothy Ramsay. I am the pastor of the Place of Grace UK, located in London, Camden town. It has been an amazing start so far to the campaign and my assignment today is to lead us in prayer for a great awakening across the world. I am going to read a Scripture from James chapter 5, verses 17-18. It says, “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”

Whenever you look at a move of God—a revival—a great awakening—an outpouring of God’s Spirit supernaturally, you’ll always find that it is preceded by the righteous praying. It is preceded by men and women praying. As we go into this 30 days of prayer, we continue and we are believing God just like Elijah who prayed for rain to stop and then prayed for rain to come. As we pray, the rain is going to fall all over the nations of the earth—the rain of God that brings liberation, that brings salvation, that brings prosperity, that brings deliverance and peace and days of refreshing, is going to rain across all the nations of the globe and we are going to experience an awakening like never before. And in this awakening, it will be like the church in the book of Acts chapter 4 where the place was shaken and people began to pray and speak God’s Word with boldness. We are believing that in this great awakening the church is going to come alive and speak the Word with boldness. Just as James said, the fruit that is on the earth that belongs to God—there is a great harvest that is on the earth that belongs to God. We are going to reap it because the rain of the Holy Spirit is here.

I am excited to lead you in prayer as we do this and as we partake in the things God has for us in this season. One last Scripture; the Bible says Proverbs 14:34 that, “Righteousness exhorts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” We are believing for the nations of the earth to be exalted. As we awaken unto righteousness, as we awaken unto the things of God, that our nations are going to be lifted up. People are going to get filled with joy again. The reproach of the enemy is going to be rolled away and the goodness of God is going to fill the earth with all its glory. So let’s pray today for a great awakening. God bless you.
