DAY 17 | Pray For Christians to have a Greater Impact in Entertainment (TV, Movies, Music, Theatre…)

PASTOR ANJOLO FIELDER

CAMPUS PASTOR | FAITH4LIFE | PENSACOLA, FL

What is going on family? This is Pastor Anjolo Fielder, Campus Pastor, Faith4Life in Pensacola, Florida. And during our 30 days of prayer, our focus today is for Christians to have a greater impact in the entertainment industry. In reading the Word, Jesus told us inMatthew chapter 6, verse 22—in the NewLiving Translation I like how it is stated. It says,“Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.”It goes on to say in the following verse,“But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness.”He then goes on with a caution about the person who thinks that their eye is healthy, but it is really darkness and how much darkness is there.

When we think about the entertainment industry in our world today, the things that we see into our eye gates can be very disruptive and against the Word that we put inside ourselves. But God will use that window and can use that window to push light through those screens, to push light through music into the lives of us, and even in our children in this generation and that which is to come. We know that it isGod’s perfect will for all men to be saved and to come into the knowledge of the truth that Jesus Christis who He says He is. And so we have a job to push that message by any means necessary. And oh what a great window is it in the entertainment industry for God to use that mountain to bring more people to knowing who Jesus Christ is. So as we pray today, we pray like Paul told Timothy in1 Timothy chapter2—that we have a responsibility to pray for all men. So we are believing God today that God will use the entertainment industry and have an open door to place people in specific positions to share the Gospel in a way that the world will receive it. I am ready to pray. I hope you are. Let’s do it
