DAY 10 | Pray For Judges to Rule Righteously

PASTOR FRANK DAVIS

CAMPUS PASTOR | FAITH4LIFE | TOLEDO, OH

Hey. We are back with another day of 30 days of prayer. Today we are praying that the judges rule righteously.Leviticus 19, verse 15says,“Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.”In this country, we’ve seen judges do a lot of things that are not righteous. And as a result, asAmerican citizens, it has affected our lives. But I love what God says inIsaiah chapter 1, verse 26. He says,“And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.”God is letting us know that our country is strategically connected to judges—that the success of our country is connected to the judges.

So we need to pray that God will restore our judges as at the first. We need God to intervene in the judicial branch of this country. Let’s pray today that the judges will rule righteously—that they will not be afraid to judge according to God’s will and that they will not bow their knee to the will of people who don’t want to follow after God. Let’s pray that they judge righteously and that they judge biblically so that our country can go in the direction that God wants it to go in and we can be called a righteous and faithful city.
