Day 19 - Pray For Boldness in Schools
KENTRO PISTIS ATHENS, GREECE
Today, we are going to pray about a very important topic, which not only concerns today but it also concerns our future, and that is boldness in our schools. As it is written in First Timothy, chapter 4 in verse 12, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” So let us pray… pray that you will be an example in the school… that you will be bold to stand out for the truth… that you will be bold, in that, you will not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Yes, youth, be bold and be prayerful that you will be bold. Be prayerful that a new generation will rise up and take their places as sons and daughters of God…that they will stand up for the truth of the Gospel unashamedly. Let us read in Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 19, “And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.” Let us pray that we will be bold—bold to speak about Jesus in the schools. Whenever you see someone who is brokenhearted, someone who is isolated, someone who is being bullied, pray that you may be bold to go and be the hands and the feet of Jesus and that you will go and comfort them with the Word of God, as you have been called. Pray that you will not compromise but stand up for what is right and stand up with love against what is wrong. As it is written in Acts, chapter 4, in verses 29 and 30, “And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.”
Yes, pray that you will have boldness to speak for what is right and what is good and acceptable. Pray that you may be bold and that you will have the boldness to start Bible clubs in your school… that you will show other youth what it means to be a child of God… to show them that it is fun to read the Word of God… to show them what it means to be a doer of the Word of God and not to just a hearer of the Word of God. Yes, be bold and be the difference in the school. Be the difference which you desire to see. Pray that bold and prayerful teachers and parents will rise up and not compromise by following the system of the world, but that they will be the difference and they will teach children what it means to be children of the Word of God and not of the world. Lastly youth, be bold and be unafraid; be unashamed because as it is written in First John, chapter 2, in verse 14, “you are strong and the Word of God does abide in you.”Yes, you have overcome the wicked one through Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world. Be blessed.
