Day 15 - Pray for Protection
Minister Kristina Jenkins
WORD OF FAITH, SOUTHFIELD MI
It is day 15 of our 30 days of prayer; and today, we are going to pray the prayer of protection. Now we all know that in this day and time—with all the things that are going on—that we live in a dangerous time. The Word of God told us that in the last days perilous times would come, and they are here. But thankfully, the Word of God has given us promises and a prescription for maintaining safety and protection. In Psalm 91 it tells us, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” If you read all the way through the chapter, and I would admonish you to do so; in fact, it is a great idea to do today before you begin praying over your protection. As you read through the chapter, you will find out at the end we are promised that with long life will God satisfy us and show us His deliverance and His salvation.
As you go ahead and pray today over your protection, I would admonish you to pray over yourself and your family and your home. But also pray the blood of Jesus over your church, over your pastor, and over those that the Lord puts on your heart that you need to pray protection for. Pray for those who are suffering persecution because of their Christianity all throughout the world. Plead the blood of Jesus over them specifically that Satan will not be able to come in and put his hands on them or on you, or your family, or your pastor so that we can all fulfill the perfect will of God has for our lives and go on and live in glory with Jesus.
