DAY 5 - Pray for Our Youth and Children
Pastor Deborah Butler
Word of Faith
Hello. I am Pastor Deborah Butler. Today I am here for our 30 days of prayer.
Today I’m going to talk to you about Jesus’ attitude towards children. We want to talk a little bit about praying for children today. When I do my devotions every day, I have a confession and a prayer that I pray over my kids and over my grandkids and over my godchildren, even though they are grown. But I still pray over them and their children. It helps me to remember to pray for them and remember to do good for them and just to love them. Even though I may not see them or get with them or hang around them as much I want to, I can always pray for them because there is no distance in the Spirit. So that is how I stay close to people because there are a lot of people out here and a lot of people that we are responsible for and I can’t be there for everybody but my prayers can and your prayers can. Let’s remember to pray for them. Let’s remember to love them and to think about them and to be a blessing to them. Jesus will reward you for that. He’s saying that if you wound them, that is what is going to happen to you. Knowing what kind of God we serve - if you bless them and love them and pray for them and just remember them and lift them up, the Lord will also reward you for that. So just remember that. God loves us and He wants to bless us and that is one of the ways we can receive those blessings, as we bless those little ones in Jesus’ name. God bless you. Love you.
