DAY 4 | Pray for Religious Freedom

Bishop Bethel Choto

Shalom family. My name is Bishop Bethel Choto, speaking from South Africa. Today is day number 4 of our prayers. We are praying for religious freedom. Can we please open our Bibles to second Thessalonians chapter 3, and verse 1. And it reads, “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:” And also first John chapter 4, verse 4, and it reads, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” We are praying today for our right as a church to worship Jesus Christ.

Satan is building structures to try to suppress our individual principal rights to freedom of worship. We have authority over whatever Satan might try to do. Our prayers are so important in times of attacks. Prayer enables the message of the Kingdom of God to be preached without the enemy stopping the church. Can we join our faith today that the message of Jesus Christ and His glory will continue to spread rapidly and that it will be recognized everywhere in the world. We pray that God will rescue the church from the attacks of wicked people that are behind legislation and the laws that want to take our religious freedom.

Lastly, can we join in faith with every believer that we are confident and fully persuaded that we belong to God and are His children and we have conquered them that are in the world for greater is He that is in us than the one that is in the world. This knowledge makes us stand tall without fear. Let us pray in Jesus’ name.
