DAY 22 - Pray for those Struggling with Mental Health Issues
Minister Anita Davis
Word of Faith Southfield, MI
Hello and thank you for joining us for 30 days of prayer. Today we want to pray for those who are struggling with mental health issues, for those struggling with depression, anxiety or disorders. We want to pray, first and foremost, that they realize that there is hope in God and that He has given us the ability and the tools that we need to live a life full of peace and joy. We want them to know Jesus as the Prince of Peace. He said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” They have to know that Jesus is the answer and that He is standing ready to give them peace. We want them to know that God has not given them the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. Then, for those that are dealing with physical issues that are affecting their minds. The Word says in Psalm 103, “Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all of His benefits, who forgiveth all thine inequities and who healeth all thy diseases.” All means all, from dementia to chemical imbalances. God heals them all. In fact, God can heal brain injuries that have impacted a person’s personal or mental capacity. We can pray for peace, joy and healing for everyone dealing with these issues. If you are one of them, there is hope. Cast your care on Him for He cares for you. Be anxious for nothing. Pray about it and watch the peace of God rest on you. Believe that by His stripes you are healed.
