DAY 13 - Pray That The Word of God Has Free Reign Throughout the World

Praise the Lord. This is Pastor John Ward. Welcome to day 13 of prayer. Today our

subject is: “Pray That the Word of God Has Free Reign Throughout the World.” Let’s

look at our text from second Thessalonians chapter 3, verse 1, “Finally, brethren,

pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even

as it is with you.” We live in a time right now where things have been getting darker

and darker and the spirit of antichrist has been doing everything he can in order to

stop the Word of God from going forth in all over the world. Understand that when

you pray in the Spirit and you pray that God’s Word has free course, you are not

just praying for the United States or Canada. But you are praying for the nations.

You are praying for believers on all continents. We see what has been happening

in Australia. We see what has been happening in Canada. We see that almost 10

pastors have been locked up for simply opening their churches. Satan is doing

what he can to stop God’s Word from having free course. But this is nothing new.

Paul said to pray for him because not all men have faith. We see in Philippians

chapter 1 beginning with verse 18, Paul says by the Holy Spirit, “What then?

notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached;

and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. For I know that this shall turn to my

salvation [Greek word deliverance] through your prayer, and the supply of the

Spirit of Jesus Christ.” As you and I pray today, we are praying for God’s Word to

have free course. We are praying for wicked men to be stopped. We are praying for

governments to stop doing what they are doing in trying to keep God’s Word from

coming forth. And as you do, tremendous power is being made available. I want to

remind you today to keep fighting the good fight of faith.
