Day 12 - Pray for Unsaved People Around the World

Day 12 - Pray for Unsaved People Around the World

EVANGELIST KATHRYN STRAMLER

WORD OF FAITH SOUTHFIELD, MI

I want to talk to you today about praying for people all over the world. Jesus said in Luke 10:2, “the harvest is truly great but the laborers are few.”He told us to pray to the Lord of the harvest that He would send laborers into the harvest to bring these people in. Amen?

You see when we pray for the unsaved, we are praying for their hearts to be opened to receive the Gospel. We are praying that God will send spiritual laborers across their path that can minister to them in a way that they can receive it—not just people in our neighborhood, not just people on our street, not just people in our state but for people all over the world. We are praying according to James 5:16 which says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” And what that means is that it is dynamic in its working, which means having and showing great or worthy intensive feeling and purpose, enthusiasm—it is hot, it is burning and it is glowing.

When we set our hearts to pray this way, we are praying the perfect will of God; and we can rest assured that God will always answer our prayer. So then, what is the will of God concerning men? Well, it is found in First Timothy 2:1-3, which says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” And it also says, “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” You see, we are praying that everyone comes into the knowledge of the truth, but our faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So what saith it? The Word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart. That is, the Word of faith, which we preach. If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved.

So folks, let’s get it done. We want you to pray like you have never prayed before for people all over the world. God bless you and let’s keep on praying.
